The First Disciples

¹⁶ As^(A) He was passing along by the Sea of Galilee,^(B) He saw Simon^(C) and Andrew,^(D) Simon’s brother. They were casting a net into the sea,^(E) since they were fishermen.

¹⁷ “Follow Me,”^(F) Jesus told them, “and I will make you fish for^[a](G) people!”^{(H) 18} Immediately they left their nets and followed^(I) Him.^(J)
